Don't miss Dancing with the Dogs at this year's event. TC Cappel will
perform Canine Freestyle on stage at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m..
Pooches and their people will find the traditional “Glamfur"
shots of your furry friend, paw readings by the Great Barkini, dogs
on parade, canine contests, live entertainment, demonstrations, arts/crafts
booths, pet information and adoptions, festival foods and more.
All contests are stage call entries with the exception of the Spokesdog
Pageant. Owners wishing to enter their precious pooch or handsome
hound in the Dog Days of Denton Spokesdog Pageant should follow the
instructions on the Spokesdog entry flier. A simple essay and photo
turned in by Tuesday, May 22 will make you eligible for the contest.

ALL DAY, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., attendees can enjoy fantastic festival foods,
contests, live music and entertainment, and kids' games. Vendors will
sell their canine-themed wares, arts/crafts, pet care information, and
pet rescue groups will be on-site. Clifford and Emily Elizabeth are
back for storytime this year at the Emily Fowler Library. This fur-filled
event also features various *canine demonstrations in agility, flyball,
disc and freestyle throughout the morning.
*Please note, canine demonstrations/exhibitions happen early and typically
end by 12:30 p.m
Other contests include the Dog Singing Contest, Pet Tricks Contest,
Make a Milk-Bone
Moment National Spokesdog Search, and the “Heinz 57”
dog show with fun categories. Great prizes and fun are guaranteed!

The event takes place rain or shine - in the event of rain, come prepared
with an umbrella, wear old shoes and have a good time!
